Our COVID-19 response and resource database

17 April 2020

This page will be updated as the situation develops. Further announcements will be sent to the primary contact of each grant as they become available. In the meantime, if you have any further questions, please contact your Performance and Risk Manager. All guidance is UK Aid Match specific and is not indicative of a Department for International Development-wide approach.

UK Aid Match grant holders are encouraged to adapt activities to the current context either by amending existing activities or pivoting to specifically respond to the COVID-19 crisis. In some cases, activities may have to be suspended.

All grant holders have received specific guidance on how to approach these changes. If you have not received this guidance, please email ukaidmatch@manniondaniels.com or your Performance and Risk Manager directly.

COVID-19 resources database

To further support grant holders with sharing information and learning during these challenging times, the UK Aid Match team are facilitating a series of COVID-19 grant holder discussion forums. These involve virtual discussions on a variety of topics, with existing grant holders sharing their insight and experiences before discussing in smaller groups. Grant holders will have received information on the scheduled topics and joining instructions for this series.

If you have any further questions about the discussion series, email ukaidmatch@manniondaniels.com.

Stay safe

It is paramount to keep your teams, partners and beneficiaries safe during the pandemic. Each organisation is best placed to make decisions on how to protect your team and wider public health, and we ask that you continue to share information with your Performance and Risk Manager.

It is important that verified resources are used, such as the following articles from the World Health Organization (WHO), for information on how to protect yourself and others from COVID-19:

In all countries, we advise grant holders to:

  • Stay up to date with government advice on public gatherings
  • Work remotely and use alternative solutions for meetings, such as video calling
  • If gatherings are still taking place, try to create safer conditions by putting in place physical distancing rules, regular hand washing and using hand sanitiser

We have collated a suite of COVID-19 resources below. We hope that UK Aid Match grant holders will find them useful.

Thank you for your continued efforts to keep the most vulnerable populations safe at this difficult time. We send our best wishes for the important work that you do and for the health and well-being of the communities with whom you work.
